We are delighted to announce that the West Midlands Revolution are the Champions of the inaugural Quidditch Premier League!

In the finals of the inaugural Quidditch Premier League (QPL), the West Midlands Revolution has been crowned the champions of the Championship, defeating the Southeast Knights. After a heavy fought match to determine the winners, the Revolution won with 140* to 70 (the asterisk indicating the snitch catch). The London Monarchs took third place.

The first five minutes brought aggressive gameplay from the West Midlands Revolution, with a swift counterplay by the Knights. Bill Orridge, the snitch for the game, danced around the players, though it was Ben Morton who caught the snitch in the end caught by Ben Morton in the end.

Ben Morton the Manager of the West Midlands Revolution, commented: “The best team won in the end. We worked hard and we got what we deserved.”

Jack Lennard, the Director of the Quidditch Premier League, commented: ‘The evolution of quidditch has led to the establishment of an organisation which celebrates our diversity, athleticism, and drive - all of which has been demonstrated at our Championship today.

‘Every single player, volunteer, and spectator made this an incredible summer and presenting the West Midlands Revolution with the trophy, after a hard-fought and well-deserved victory, was the perfect end to this season. A proud start to a bright future.’
